As the National Box Hurling League moves into its next phase, the league’s founding clubs are embracing a new identity that reflects the fusion of Irish tradition with American sports culture.

Five clubs will enter the next season under new names:

Athmor → The Gauls

Nua Cliath → The Vipers

Ba Fearnog → The Wickies

Gallowglass → The Highlanders

Corc Thiar → The Pumas

The rebrand represents more than new colors and crests. It marks the league’s evolution as Box Hurling continues to develop into a modern arena sport.
