The 2025 Carney Cup Final between Athmor and Nua Cliath will be remembered as one of the most dramatic nights in NBHL history.

With both clubs locked in a fierce battle deep into the evening, the match was ultimately abandoned following a serious injury on the field as darkness fell over Carraigh Mór.
